RiskResilientNet: Tailored Network Security Framework, 2023
Unlocking protocols, practices, and policies aims to safeguard the rapid industry evolution.
The idea behind this project was to create, diagnose, and optimize networked systems while integrating risk management, industry understanding, security techniques, and comprehensive testing in corporate environments.
My intention was to develop secure network systems, understand industry standards, address misconfigurations, and implement varied security techniques and measures.
Initial thoughts before starting the project were to understand network security principles, envision secure environments to build a secure strategy that the corporation I was assigned to can benefit from,
The final learning outcomes of the project:
- Implemented networked systems, risk management, and security measures.
- Understood principles/protocols, designing/configuring secure networks.
- Tested, reflected, and improved recommendations according to the chosen organization’s needs.

The pre-production phase was for researching industry-specific security needs, planning security frameworks, exploring devices, and major protocols, and designing secure networks.
Then the production phase was for configuring the network architecture, applying security measures, critically evaluating the design, planning, and testing the network.
Lastly, during the post-production the focus was on documenting test results, critical reflection, justifying conclusions, recommending enhancements, and analyzing for improvements.
